Filled with mozzarella cheese and sweet corn, Cheese & Corn Modern-yaki is now being offered at selected branches of Botejyu Express for a limited time only.

November 28, 2008 :: Botejyu KiKi Kyobashi Branch Opens
Botjyu KiKi Kyobashi Branch opened on the first floor of KiKi Kyobashi, a commercial complex where you can enjoy both comedy and dining in the attractive Osaka city of Kyobashi.
Please come enjoy the taste of Botejyu after shopping or watching a show at the Yoshimoto's new theatre, "Kyobashi Kagetsu".

November 26, 2008 :: NOMI*YAKI DINING Botejyu Hankyu Nishinomiya Branch Opens
NOMI*YAKI DINING Botejyu opened its Hankyu Nishinomiya Branch in the Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, the largest commercial center in the Kansai region in Nishinomiya, Hyogo-ken.
In addition to our okonomiyaki and yakisoba menu, we have prepared a wide variety of side dishes as well as an extensive selection of alcohol beverages. We look forward to seeing you soon!

November 25, 2008 :: Botejyu Vivo City Branch in Singapore's "my paper"
Botejyu's Vivo City Branch was introduced in Singapore's daily newspaper "my paper". Along with the recommended menu items, the article featured Botejyu as one of the 3-in-1 restaurants that opened in the Japanese Gourmet Town inside Vivo City as well as being the oldest okonomiyaki speciality restaurant in Japan.

Botejyu's Liang Court Branch was introduced in November 20th issue of Singapore's Japanese information newspaper, "J PLUS".
With the opening of the second branch in Singapore's Liang Court, following the popular Vivo City branch, the article described Botejyu as the oldest established okonomiyaki restaurant in Japan and featured some of the popular menu items.

A photo of Botejyu's okonomiyaki was featured in one of the questions in the Asahi Television's popular quiz program, "Bakusho Mondai no Kensaku-chan". The question was "According to Japan Konamon Association, what is the major difference in how you eat okonomiyaki in the Kanto and Kansai region".
November 14, 2008 :: Botejyu Liang Court Branch Opens in Singapore
Botejyu's second branch in Singapore opened in the Liang Court located near the MRT Clarke Quay in downtown Singapore.
Clarke Quay is a popular tourist spot and Liang Court is a shopping center frequented by the Japanese and Western residents in Singapore. We would like to deliver the authentic taste of Osaka's traditional food, the "Okonomiyaki", to our friends in Singapore!

October 31, 2008 :: Botejyu Vivo City Branch Opens in Singapore
Botejyu has opened its first restaurant in the modern, garden city of Singapore.
The restaurant is in newly developed mega-size shopping center, Vivo City, located in Harbor Front, the southern most part of Singapore.
We hope the restaurant in frequented by not only the residents of Singapore, but also visitors to the country on business and vacation.

October 17, 2008 :: Botejyu's Okonomiyaki Mix and Okonomiyaki Sauce Now on Sale
You can now enjoy the genuine taste of Botejyu's okonomiyaki at your home with our new Okonomiyaki Mix Set. The mix is now on sale for 580 yen (tax inclusive) for a two serving box at our Dotonbori Main Restaurant, Shin-Osaka Station Branch, Tenpozan Branch, Kansai International Airport Branch and Botejyu Express Kanku Machiyakoji Branch.
Botejyu's Okonomiyaki Sauce (180ml Mini Bottle) which is included in the Okonomiyaki Mix is also available now for 250 yen (tax inclusive) at our restaurants. We hope you will purchase one after dining at one of our restaurants or as Osaka souvenir.

Botejyu Main Restaurant-Dotonbori was introduced in Meets Regional's supplementary issue "Keihanshin no Konamon", published by Keihanshin L Magazine.
As the founder of the concept of flavoring okonomiyaki with mayonnaise, a common practice now, the restaurant and its popular menu item "Special Mix Moonlight Okonomiyaki" was featured in the article.

August 27, 2008 :: "Botejyu" Debuting in "Osaka Niwa Ippai Arunnyade no Uta" Sung by Yoshimoto Osaka Sukkyanennzu
Botejyu is mentioned in the lyrics as a delicious Osaka food in the song, "Osaka Niwa Ippai Arunnyade no Uta" sung by the group Yoshimoto Osaka Sukkyanennzu, who debuted from the popular Yomiuri and Nippon Television network program, "Himitsu no Kenmin Show". We hope you will listen to the song and try to guess which of the 10 Yoshimoto comedian groups sings the part with Botejyu.

From Osaka!! "Okonomiyaki Rice Cracker in Botejyu's Okonomiyaki Sauce Flavor" is now on sale at train station kiosks and souvenir shops in the Kinki area. Botejyu's legendary sweet and spicy sauce is now readily available for your enjoyment. Large size box are sold for 1050 yen, and small size box for 630 yen.

After renovations, our main restaurant in Dotonbori, Osaka reopened on July 5, 2008. With our reopening, we have prepared an extensive menu including okonomiyaki, yakisoba and teppanyaki using selective ingredients.

In the Kansai Television lifestyle variety program, "Momoko no OH! Sore! Miyo!", okonomiyaki was featured as one of the first gourmet foods originating in the Kansai area to spread throughout the nation. In the program, Botejyu Main Restaurant/Dotonbori was introduced as the father of okonomiyaki.

June 20, 2008 :: Renewal Opening of Botejyu Kichijoji Branch
Kichijoji is ranked as the number one city young people want to live according to the media. Our Kichijoji branch is situated in this trendy town on the B1 floor of the Miuraya Building located near the Sunroad Arcade on the north side of Kichijoji station. After major renovations, this branch reopened on June 20th with a new relaxing atmosphere, an extensive food menu and a fine selection of alcohol beverages. A joint collaboration between Botejyu and Acecook, the Botejyu Sauce Yakisoba is now on sale nationwide.
We have succeeded in reproducing the Botejyu Sauce Yakisoba using extra thick noodles with just the right amount of firmness, our special house sauce having juicy pork flavor with a fruity sweetness, and our homemade mild mayonnaise. You can now enjoy the original taste of Botejyu right in your home.

February 1, 2008 :: Renewal Opening of Botejyu - Umeda HEP Navio Branch
HEP Navio in Umeda, Osaka has undergone complete transformation. Hankyu Department Store Men's Annex now occupy floors from B1 to 5F. With this, Botejyu - Umeda HEP Navio Branch in the Navio Dining & Café Bimi on the 7th floor restaurant section, has undergone a complete makeover and reopened on Friday, February 1.
