Opening in October 2008, Botejyu’s Singapore Vivo City Branch was introduced in the LianHe Zaobao Newspaper as making Osaka’s representative food, the Okonomiyaki, a popular trend in Singapore.

The newly renovated Venus Fort Shopping Mall, home of Botejyu’s Daiba branch, has reopened as the first full-fledged outlet mall in Tokyo. With this transformation, we have also renewed our menu. We hope you will choose to eat at Botejyu Daiba branch the next time you are shopping at Venus Fort.

Botejyu was mentioned in an interview with Japan Foods Holding’s CEO, Mr. Takahashi, in the November 19th issue of the Singaporean maganzine for the Japanese community, J-Plus. Japan Food Holding has been bringing popular menu brands from all over Japan to Singapore.

Botejyu’s Tenpozan Branch was introduced in the November broadcast of China’s major satellite travel channel program, “Manyu Nihon (Traveling Japan)”, which highlighted sightseeing spots in Osaka city.

Botejyu’s Daiba branch’s tapas menu was introduced in the October 17th broadcast of “Fuji Ana Studio Manunama 2009” on Fuji Television’s digital CS Channel.

Botejyu’s Okonomiyaki & Yakisoba (398 yen) is now on sale for a limited time until November 16th at Circle K Sunkus convenience stores nationwide.

Botejyu Raffles City branch was introduced in the September 17th issue of J Plus, an information magazine targeted for Japanese residents in Singapore. The magazine covered photos of the restaurant interior, which is imaged after the streets of Osaka and our popular menu item, the Moonlight Mixed Okonomiyaki.

Mixed martial artist, Musashi Kubota, also an actor and the exercise instructor on Kid’s Challenge (Kodomo Challenge), competed in the victory MMA match “MAYHEM is BACK !!” of Battlart’s “B-1 Climax Final Bottle” at THEATRE 1010 in Kitasenju. Botejyu Group supported this event as a sponsor.

Botejyu Hankyu Branch will be temporarily closed from September 1, 2009 due to renovation of Hankyu Department Store.

Botejyu’s sixth branch in Singapore has opened on the B1 floor of Raffle City Shopping Center directly linked to the City Hall MRT Station.

Raffles City shopping mall is located not only in the popular tourist spot near the Merlion and the historic Raffles Hotel, but it is also situated in the center of Singapore’s administrative and cultural district, the “City Hall”.

Our Botejyu Twin 21 branch has reopened with a new look. Botejyu i-Garden was introduced in the 122nd issue of the free information magazine, Metro Guide (published by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun), which is distributed at all Tokyo Metro Stations.

Botejyu’s fifth branch in Singapore, Orchard Central Branch, has opened on the 7th floor of the Orchard Central Shopping Center located next to the Somerset MRT Station.

Not only is Orchard Central in an ideal location on Orchard Road in the central shopping district of Singapore with direct access to Somerset MRT Station, the modern exterior design of the new shopping center has a lightly and airy atmosphere with plenty of natural sunlight. On the B2 and 1st floors, you can enjoy shopping and dining in a refreshing interior based on a Mediterranean theme. Botejyu’s Tampines 1 branch was introduced in the May issue of Singapore’s information magazine for women, Her World, as a famous okonomiyaki brand restaurant with over 60 years of experience and tradition.

Botejyu’s Tampines 1 branch was introduced in the April 20th issue of Singapore’s Chinese entertainment magazine, I weekly, as one of the well-known Japanese restaurant that recently opened in Tampines 1.

Botejyu’s Tampines 1 branch, which opened in the Japanese Gourmet Town MANPUKU, was introduced in the Singapore’s Chinese newspaper, Shin Min Daily, as a nationwide chain okonomiyaki restaurant established in 1946 in Osaka.

Botejyu’s Dotonbori Main Restaurant is introduced in the newest walking map , Chizu de Aruku Osaka (Osaka by Foot), published by JTB Publishing Inc. The map which includes the popular hot spots in area, lists Botejyu as one of the representative okonomiyaki restaurants of Osaka. While being the founder of the concept of dressing okonomiyaki with mayonnaise, Botejyu is also introduced as the being one of the leading innovative okonomiyaki restaurants striving to keep in sync with the evolving trends of the times.

Botejyu’s menu was listed in the calorie control leaflet, “Sugudekiru! KK (Kitano Kie)-shiki Calorie Control (You Can Do It! Kie Kitano’s Calorie Control Method) ”, written by popular idol Kitano Kie. The leaflet is sold with Kit Kat chocolates as a set.

For limited time until April 13th, Botejyu’s “Pork Okonomiyaki and Omusoba (460 yen)” and “Mixed Okonomiyaki (495 yen)” will be on sale at Circle K Sunkus nationwide.

As the founder of modern-yaki, Botejyu’s modern-yaki was introduced in the “What is Modern About Modern-yaki” episode of Nippon Television Network’s popular variety program, “Perfume no Kininaruk-chan”. Botejyu was featured to explain what modern-yaki is and how it gots its name.

Botejyu’s Kansai International Airport branch was introduced in the March 3rd issue of the information magazine, Kansai Walker, which covers articles on food, shopping and entertainment.

The article in the “Minna Daisuki! Chain-ten Retsuden” corner of this issue features this branch as a pioneer okonomiyaki restaurant coming up with the original idea of flavoring okonomiyaki with mayonnaise.

Images of Botejyu’s Atre Oimachi branch and our okonomiyaki were aired on the Fuji Television program, “Spice TV: Domo☆Kininaru”. This branch was frequented by the popular TV personality, especially when she missed Osaka.

Botejyu’s third branch in Singapore opened in Jurong Point, the largest shopping center situated in the western part of Singapore housing over 400 retail and dining outlets located next to the Boon Lay MRT Station.

Botejyu’s Juong Point Branch was introduced in the January 15th issue of the magazine, J PLUS, which is an information magazine for the Japanese community in Singapore.

The article introduced this branch as the most famous okonomiyaki restaurant in Japan. It is the third branch to open in Singapore following the opening of the Vivo City and Liang Court branches.
