Founded in 1946, Botejyu is a well-established okonomiyaki specialty restaurant having over 60 years of tradition. Now a common practice throughout the nation, Botejyu was the first restaurant to introduce the concept of using mayonnaise to flavor okonomiyaki. Our restaurant name, Botejyu, which depicts the sound of okonomiyaki being flipped ( Bote ) and sizzled ( jyu ), has become a representative brand for okonomiyaki in Japan.
